INSPECTIONS
Are your elevator's state required inspection past due? Do you have a past due or delinquent inspection report that you need help with? We can assist you getting the state required inspection preformed, we can aid in addressing code violations and having them corrected, and we can help you to obtain your annual certification of operation for your elevator.
DOOR LOCK MONITORING
If you own or manage a hydraulic elevator installed before October 2005 or a traction elevator before October 2000 there is a good chance your elevator will not meet the upcoming code change that goes into effect on December 31st, 2023. The state of Florida has updated its building code to ASME A17.3-2015 which contains a change in requirement 3.10.12 that specifically requires all elevators retroactively to comply. This change monitors the state of each elevator's door position and ensures that the elevator is not able to move with the doors open. This code change affects nearly 100,000 elevators in the state.
